Labor Management
The management of people and labor services is a CSI core competency. To make this a reality, CSI utilizes an automated Time and Attendance program which simplifies and improves the accuracy of processes from the time an employee punches in until they are paid.
For larger locations, CSI uses the wall-mounted device which is an on-site management interface system that offers smart features such as:
- Employees punch-in and out using a combination of their finger print and pin number.
- The device has a user interface which can be used for labor management, communication and training.
- The system communicates using secure/encrypted packets via modem, Local Area Network (LAN) or wireless communication.
This system is designed to help our CSI on-site managers simplify their job and eliminate a lot of their manual paper work activities. In addition, the system becomes another set of eyes and ears in the field and can help with the following tasks:
- Verify exactly who is on property using fingerprint ID
- Communicate (two-way to employees)
- Assign work to and message remote workers
- Send alerts to our management team for absences of critical staff
For smaller facilities, CSI uses the phone in capabilities of our time management system. This is a system that collects time and attendance using automated phone Text-To-Speech technology and then places the information on secure Web to be accessed from a laptop or a PDA phone. Using this system, CSI's timesheets are immediately created (in real time) and accessible via secure Web.
With the CSI automated punch to pay system, our operational managers can login to a secure Web site and perform the following from a Web-enabled computer or hand-held device:
- Track employees and their attendance in real-time, using a Web browser
- Set triggers and alerts based on employee attendance or tardiness
- Manage employees, send messages and assign work tickets to individuals or sites
- Submit timesheets electronically to back-office payroll department
